Restore the Doors!

On July 17, 1926, the Hollywood Theatre opened its doors.  90 years later, help us restore the doors!

We’re renovating the entryway of our historic Theatre, replacing the current 1960s-era, aluminum-frame doors with Oregon-crafted mahogany and glass doors modeled after the 1926 originals and restoring historical detail to the lower half of the building. With this project completed, we’ll achieve:

- Restored historic character
- ADA accessibility
- Increased energy efficiency
- No more doors slamming on poor unsuspecting moviegoers!

The Hollywood Theatre is your local nonprofit movie theater and neighborhood landmark, celebrating 90 years in 2016.  Support us!  Donate to our Restore the Doors campaign here.

All contributions received will support our Restore the Doors campaign and other building improvements. Donors who give $250 or more will have their generosity acknowledged on the big screen for the rest of 2016. Donors who give $500 or more will receive a special framed commemorative photograph of the beautiful Hollywood Theatre.
