Project Youth Doc Premiere

Join us on Friday, September 9 at 7:15pm for the the premiere of 7 thought-provoking films completed this summer during Project Youth Doc at the Hollywood Theatre, a month long documentary film production program for teens 13-16.  This year’s films span topics as diverse as marijuana use in teens, flashmobs, and what it means to be young and in love.  Tickets are only $5; all proceeds benefit Project Yout Doc 2012.

Project Youth Doc is a summer video documentary program for youth ages 13-16 taught at the Hollywood Theatre in Portland, OR. Students accepted into the program complete an intense course in documentary video taught by professional filmmakers, using pro production equipment, industry standard lighting, sound gear, HD cameras and Final Cut Pro equipped Macs.  Join us on Friday, September 9 at 7pm for the the premiere of 7 thought-provoking films completed this summer spanning topics as diverse as marijuana use in teens, flashmobs, and what it means to be young and in love.
