Parking: In addition to street parking around the theatre, Hollywood patrons can park in the Broadway Medical Clinic lot (4212 NE Broadway) on nights and weekends.
Public Transportation: The easiest way to get to the Hollywood Theatre is by public transit. We are just 2 blocks from the Hollywood Transit Center, which is serviced by the Red, Green and Blue Max Lines and Bus Lines #66, #75, #77. Additionally, Bus Line #12 drops you off a few steps from our front door!
Doors: Outside theatre doors open 30 minutes prior to the first showing of the day/evening.
Concessions: We have a wide variety of beverages (including beer and wine), pizza, Salt and Straw ice cream, and and, of course, our acclaimed popcorn. Voted the best in Portland!
Assistive Listening & Closed Captioning: Headphones for audio enhancement are available on all films. We also offer closed captioning and audio description whenever possible. The availability of these services varies from film to film; call 503-493-1128 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for inquiries about specific films, or consult the online event description. Headphones and closed captioning devices are available upon request from our box office.
ADA Accessibility: As a historical building, the Hollywood Theatre is limited in its ability to meet ADA requirements, though we remain committed to servicing patrons with mobility issues whenever possible. While our ground-level auditorium is wheelchair-accessible, our two upstairs auditoriums are not. Please feel free to contact us at 503-493-1128 regarding the placement of films on any given day. In most instances, and with adequate notice, we can modify film scheduling to accommodate access.
Our restrooms are currently not wheelchair-accessible, but Hollywood Theatre patrons are welcome to use the ADA-compliant restrooms at Vivienne Kitchen & Pantry and Sizzle Pie, both located in the same building as the theatre.
Pizza ($3.50-4.50): Portland's own Sizzle Pie is available by the slice from the theater's "Pie Hole," including vegetarian and vegan slices. No more scrambling to get dinner before heading to the movies- slices are cheap, served piping hot, and pair oh-so-well with craft beer or soda.
Wine ($): San Giorgio Sangiovese de Puglia & San Giorgio Pinot Grigio
Beer on tap ($4): 6 taps with rotating selections from Deschutes, Lagunitas and more, as well as hard cider. Miller High Life drafts for $2.50.

Air Conditioning: All three auditoriums in the Hollywood are air conditioned.
Bathroom Policy: The Hollywood Theatre supports the right of all patrons to use the restroom that corresponds to their gender identity. Hollywood staff and volunteers are enthusiastically committed to making sure our transgender and gender non-conforming guests feel welcome and accommodated at the theater. Long term, this includes plans to renovate our space to include gender-neutral restrooms within the theater.
We're very open to feedback about ways to make the Hollywood a space where all members of the community feel safe and comfortable. Inquiries regarding use of a single-stall, gender-neutral restroom or any other questions or comments can be directed to email@example.com.
