Aye, it is true you can change your world while flopped on your butt – on a raft or theater seat. Support the Human Access Project by watching one of the most amazing raft voyages in human history – KON-TIKI! This inspiring adventure film won the Academy Award for Best Documentary in 1951. It chronicles the life-or-death journey Thor Heyerdahl and a small crew made on a homemade balsa raft from Peru to Polynesia, simply to show it could be done. The feat flipped prevailing world opinion on ancient migration, proving how the power of imagination (and wind) can carry us far! All proceeds benefit the Human Access Project, a not-for-profit seeking to transform Portland's relationship with the Willamette River.

Afterwards, join the after-party nearby at Popina Swimwear (2030 NE 42nd ) for music, complimentary Kona beer, pizza, and adventurous conversation.
