1999’s teen angst turned rom-com 10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU introduced the world to the utter charm of Heath Ledger. The now iconic film—known for its 90s fashion, wooing via marching band, and the importance of teen poetry—follows the tale of Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew. There’s Kat Stratford (Julia Stiles) who is smart, gorgeous, and over the BS of high school, and especially, high school boys. Too bad for her little sister Bianca (Larisa Oleynik) because their grumpy dad (Larry Miller) says she can’t date until Kat does. Enter Patrick Verona (Ledger) trying to charm her enough to break Kat's famous iciness. As we see their courtship play out, we’ll also get to spend time with familiar faces like a young Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Bianca’s suitor and Alison Janney as the school’s guidance counselor.

Before the show, guests will hear some insider info on outfitting this fashion favorite from the film’s costume designer, Kim Tills.
