Only one night and one night only to see the crème de la crème of the 55 teams that competed this year -- and if that's not enough, well announce the 2011 Portland winners, including the Best Film of 2011!
And that's not all!! This year we're projecting in big 'n beautiful WIDESCREEN for the first time!!!
From August 5th to August 7th, 55 teams from the Greater Portland area had just 48 hours to write, shoot and edit their short films-- armed with only their wits, some gear, a randomly assigned genre, and these REQUIRED ELEMENTS:
CHARACTER: Mac or Meg McGill, Explorer
PROP: A WIg
LINE: "Looks like you're in over your head"
Last year, two Portland teams showed their 48 Hour films at the Cannes FIlm Festival, and there are sure to be more great films this year. So come on out, see some great local talent, and celebrate the latest and greatest installment of the Portland 48 Hour Film Project.
