We'll share historic theatre photos and anecdotes, and reveal our plans to renovate the theatre's lower façade with historically-inspired design elements that serve our modern audience.
The Q&A will be followed by a screening of the new documentary GOING ATTRACTIONS: THE DEFINITIVE STORY OF THE MOVIE PALACE, about the evolution of movie houses around the country - from the first silent films in storefront nickelodeons to the ornate palaces built on the verge of the Great Depression - and the struggle to save these historic buildings which provide a window into our past.
