Come join us at the Hollywood and learn the basic principles of stop-motion animation with a focus on paper collage. Participants will work with collage materials including cut paper, patterned paper, photographs and magazines.

ANIMATE IT!
is a one day workshop for Portland’s budding animators. Workshops are offered every third Saturday of the month at the Hollywood Theatre for ages 7-11 from 10:00am - 1:00pm and cost $38 for equipment, materials and snacks.
Participants create their own
stop-motion shorts
, develop skills and realize their creative ideas while using the latest software and equipment. Bring your imagination to life by animating paper, objects, people and more…! The final product will be delivered in electronic file to participants and shared on our social media platforms.
