Casablanca

During World War II, expat American Rick Blaine (Humphrey Bogart) owns and operates the most popular nightclub in Casablanca, Morocco - an exiting point for refugees fleeing the Nazis’ march across Europe. When two German couriers are murdered for the exit visas in their possession, the missing visas become the hottest ticket in town, but no one quite knows who has them. Just as the town reaches fever pitch, two new refugees arrive: Rick’s former flame, Ilsa Lund (Ingrid Bergman), together with famed resistance fighter Victor Laszlo (Paul Henreid), on the run from the Nazis. Ilsa is determined to help Victor flee Europe for America, and she thinks she knows who has the exit visas.
