Charley Varrick in 35mm

Series: Grindhouse Film Festival

The Grindhouse Film Festival presents a rare 35mm print of this overlooked crime classic! One of the best films of the 1970s.

When small-time criminal Charley Varrick (Walter Matthau) leads a crew to rob a bank, things don't go according to plan. Not only are there casualties, but he and his surviving cohort (Andy Robinson) discover that they've snagged far more cash than they were expecting - and it's money that belongs to the mob. Hunted by both the police and a ruthless killer (Joe Don Baker), Charley starts to develop an intricate plan of escape and survival.
