Series:
Cinema Classics
In honor of the 100th anniversary of the birth of film icon Ingrid Bergman on August 29, Cinema Classics presents one of her most unforgettable films: Alfred Hitchcock’s NOTORIOUS in 35mm!
NOTORIOUS (1946): In postwar Miami, Alicia Huberman (Bergman) is a well-known party girl who drinks to forget the sins of her Nazi father. One evening, a party crasher arrives in the form of U.S. government agent Devlin (Cary Grant), who convinces Alicia to travel to Rio and go undercover to infiltrate a band of Nazis working in Brazil. Romance blooms between Alicia and Devlin, until Alicia is asked to marry Nazi ringleader Alexander Sebastian (Claude Rains) as part of her assignment. Directed by Alfred Hitchcock.
