Deep Red with Claudio Simonetti's Goblin!

Series: Wyrd War Presents!

Wyrd War proudly presents Claudio Simonetti’s Goblin live at Hollywood Theatre! This very special evening will entail a screening of Dario Argento’s stylish 1975 giallo thriller DEEP RED (aka, Profondo Rosso), with a live performance of the dazzling score - the first cinematic music ever created by the acclaimed progressive rock band Goblin! The film will be followed by a full concert of material spanning Simonetti’s entire musical career!

There are two ticket options available for this event: general admission ($30), and general admission PLUS intimate meet-and-greet with Claudio Simonetti and his band ($50).

Claudio Simonetti is a founding member of Goblin, formed in 1975 expressly for the purpose of creating the score for Dario Argento’s Deep Red, which it is claimed the band composed in a single night. Simonetti eventually embarked on a celebrated solo career that would see him collaborating with many masters of Italian genre cinema, from Dario Argento, Lucio Fulci and Enzo Castellari to Ruggero Deodato, Lamberto Bava and Luigi Cozzi! Since 1975, he has provided hauntingly energetic music for such films as DAWN OF THE DEAD, CONTAMINATION, DEMONS, CONQUEST, THE CHURCH, TENEBRAE, SUSPIRIA and dozens more! Advanced tickets are highly recommended.
