Rare 35mm print! Among the strangest and least known science fiction films from the 1950s, this film details the end of the world, compliments of a vast nuclear war that decimates the planet, through the eyes of five people, each with their own personal stories of survival. What separates this film from others that attempted this particular conceit is the intense commitment on the part of the performers, none of whom will be especially recognizable to most audience members. A deadly serious film, however "scientifically inaccurate" it might be and critically taunted it was at the time, it will haunt your dreams for years to come. Written and directed by Arch Oboler.
