A documentary film that examines a diverse group of Portlanders who have been playing softball nearly every sunday in a dilapidated school yard since 1998. Interviews with players past and present provide a unique look at what can happen when an organic pickup softball game becomes deeply embedded in the lives of those who play it and the neighborhood that hosts it. The film also explores the nature of community, humanity and it’s connection to sports.
