Abel Ferrara's 1990 gritty neo-noir.

A New York drug lord (Christopher Walken) leaves prison hellbent on gaining control of the criminal underworld, while also planning to use his profits to help the poor. He soon finds that he's battling not only rival drug dealers, but also rogue cops. Co-starring Laurence Fishburne, Wesley Snipes and Steve Buscemi.
