Join us for a night of film, animation and music celebrating the downtown Portland punk scene of the 1990s.
The night kicks off with a selection of animation from the documentary-in-progress MY ROCK N ROLL FANTASY, which takes place at legendary and bygone Portland venues the X-Ray, Howling Frog Cafe and La Luna. This will be followed by the premiere of Precipice-funded animation JEN LIKES HEROIN, a true story from the zines of Molly 16 (whose life is chronicled in MY ROCK N ROLL FANTASY). Next up, the X-Ray Cafe documentary X-RAY VISIONS by Benjamin Arthur Ellis, co-owner of the seminal all-ages venue. Lastly, an acoustic set by Sean Croghan (Crackerbash, The Pynnacles).
Sponsored by KBOO. Mature themes throughout. $8 in advance or sliding scale at the door.
