Pan's Labyrinth

Series: Stage Meets Screen

Artists Repertory Theatre’s Stage Meets Screen series, in conjunction with their production of La Ruta by Isaac Gomez, presents Guillermo del Toro’s masterful dark fairy tale PAN’S LABYRINTH on 35mm!

Set in Franco’s Spain in 1944, 11-year-old Ofelia (Ivana Baquero) struggles to cope with her mother’s sadistic new husband Captain Vidal (Sergi López). Ofelia spends her days escaping to a fantastic underworld of fauns, ogres, and other magical creatures in a quest to return to the throne of the fairy kingdom to which she belongs. But as Ofelia’s trials in the labyrinth become more and more dangerous, so does the battle against fascism being waged above ground. Co-starring Doug Jones (THE SHAPE OF WATER) as both the Faun and the terrifying Pale Man, PAN’S LABYRINTH is classic del Toro at his magical best.
