Troma Entertainment and director Lloyd Kaufman take on the Bard in this depraved adaptation of The Tempest. Kaufman assumes the role of Prospero, here a disgraced mad scientist who exacts revenge on the people who betrayed him by luring them to the strangest place on Earth: Tromaville, New Jersey! Sardonic, biting, crude, and hilarious, but also a bittersweet celebration of independent cinema and Kaufman’s mad, illustrious career.
Lloyd Kaufman is the co-founder of Troma Entertainment, and the director of many of their cult feature films, such as THE TOXIC AVENGER and TROMEO & JULIET.
