Four Silent comedies featuring Harold Lloyd, Buster Keaton and Charley Chase.

JUMPING BEANS (1922) A Max Fleischer cartoon. Koko the Clown plants a jumping bean that becomes a beanstalk. Later, he creates duplicates of himself and attacks his creator.

BUMPING INTO BROADWAY (1919) Starring Harold Lloyd. A young playwright spends his last cent to pay the rent of struggling actress in a theatrical boarding house. Pursuing her, he winds up at a gambling club, where he wins big, just before a police raid.

CRAZY LIKE A FOX (1926) Starring Charlie Chase. This two-reel silent comedy stars Chase as a young man who feigns insanity in order to get out of an arranged marriage, only to find out that his sweetheart is the girl he has been arranged to marry.

THE SCARECROW (1920) Starring Buster Keaton. Two inventive farmhands compete for the hand of the same girl.

Portland based virtuoso Dean Lemire performs original scores on the Beverly Ruth Nelson memorial organ.
