In 1999’s SUPERSTAR, SNL breakout Mary Katherine Gallagher (Molly Shannon) dreams of being a star, despite her life as an awkward Catholic school girl living with her strict grandmother. But when she sets her eyes on big man on campus Sky Corrigan (Will Ferrell), Mary enters a talent competition to win the guy and the life of her dreams!
Directed by Bruce McCulloch (THE KIDS IN THE HALL) and co-starring Elaine Hendrix, Glynis Johns, Harland Williams, and Mark McKinney, SUPERSTAR speaks to the star living in each of us – or hiding our hands in our armpits before sniffing them.
