The Piano

Celebrating Academy Award nominated director Jane Campion and three decades of THE PIANO!

A mute woman (Holly Hunter), her daughter (Anna Paquin), and their piano make the long voyage to New Zealand after being sold into marriage with a frontiersman (Sam Neill), but she soon makes a life-altering connection with a local plantation worker (Harvey Keitel).

Winning Oscars for Hunter and Paquin (the second youngest ever to win, at age 11) and Campion's screenplay, and making Campion only the second woman nominated for an Oscar for Best Director and the first female filmmaker to win the Palme d'Or at Cannes, THE PIANO is a haunting masterpiece from the filmmaker behind THE POWER OF THE DOG.
