Join us for a benefit screening of the Portland-produced short film THOU SHALL NOT TAILGATE, a short-form documentary about art car creator, retired postman, and minister Rev. Charles “Chuck” Linville, who has lived in Portland, OR, for the past 20 years. Produced by Portland filmmakers Greg Hamilton and Ira Flowers, the film is an observational profile of Chuck and his world, which includes two wildly decorated houses and multiple art cars.
An early adopter of DIY culture in Portland, OR, Rev. Linville is also one of the founding members of the Portland Cacophony Society, a collection of local artists, musicians, and pranksters that author Chuck Palahniuk wrote about in his Portland expose Fugitives and Refugees.
Rev. Chuck Linville will be in attendance for a Q&A with filmmakers Greg Hamilton and Ira Flowers following the screening.
