Series: Community Benefit Screenings

Kickstand Comedy presents Weird Al Yankovic's cult classic UHF (1989)! This benefit screening features the debut of Kickstand Comedy's new parody song competition show "KEEP PORTLAND WEIRD... AL," where comedians write and perform new parody songs on the spot! All proceeds go to Kickstand Comedy and their work to make Portland comedy undeniable.

UHF stars Weird Al as George, whose outrageous personality seems too big for keeping a job. When his uncle hands him the deed to a local TV station, Channel 62, George creates a series of television shows packed with social satire and hyperactive humor. But when a rival station's bitter CEO (Kevin McCarthy) tries to destroy Channel 62's wacky programming, George is left with no choice but to fight back. Co-starring Fran Drescher and Emo Phillips, UHF is a hilarious entry in the legend of Weird Al Yankovic.
