Waiting for the Light: Portland’s Sex Trafficking Crisis

Waiting for the Light exposes the scope and impact of sex trafficking and the commercial sexual exploitation of children in Portland, Oregon. Through straight talk from law enforcement, nonprofit leaders, survivors and “Johns,” we learn why this crime is happening in our community. The event also includes a panel of speakers to further raise awareness about this issue. Citizens who attend this event will have new awareness of this issue and have some tools and ideas about how they can help fight sex trafficking.
