Natural Resources Defense Council has partnered with Oregon Wild for a screening of NRDC’s documentary Wild Things , a film about the USDA’s Wildlife Services’ war on native carnivores. Native carnivores bring balance to the landscape and keep ecosystems healthy. Wild Things introduces audiences to progressive ranchers learning to coexist with these animals and features scientists, conservationists and even former Wildlife Services trappers, who believe it is time for a major change in the way we treat our magnificent native carnivores.
The film will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A. Panelists include film participants Cristina Eisenberg, PhD, author and professor of ecology at Oregon State University and Brooks Fahy, Executive Director of Predator Defense.
Free and open to the public.
