In honor of Women’s History Month (and in recognition of the fact that it's a tough time to be a feminist film fan), we’re taking this opportunity to celebrate the films we love and the women who have shaped the film industry.
We've invited programmers and community partners to share the films that influenced them as feminists, and have curated a selection of films that feature women in front of the camera and behind it. We aim to celebrate the contributions that women have made, and continue to make, to the film industry, while acknowledging the ongoing need for intersectional advocacy on behalf of marginalized voices in the film industry, specifically trans and nonbinary filmmakers and filmmakers of color.
