Foreign Affairs

The French New Wave, German Expressionism, and the Indian Golden Age are leaping off points for Foreign Affairs, a monthly film series dedicated to screening the classic foreign films that have intoxicated audiences and filmmakers as far back as the silent era. Each film in the series will celebrate a step in the evolution of film as as artform, and demonstrate how cinematic language can transcend otherwise impenetrable barriers.
