A Tribute to Roger Corman

The Hollywood Theatre pays tribute to Roger Corman, arguably the most important figure in Hollywood history, with a weeklong tribute of 12 films. As a director, Corman was highly underrated, helming entertaining low-budget films with subversive messages. As a producer, he found young talent that he could help mold, and he launched the careers of dozens of people who defined the next generation of Hollywood; including Martin Scorsese, Jack Nicholson, Peter Bogdanovich, Penelope Spheeris, Joe Dante, James Cameron, John Sayles, Pam Grier and so many more.
