Get
ready for another round of corny comedy, with many new films this
time... From greats to unknowns, Repressed curator Ian Sundahl digs deep
into his 16mm vault to bring his favorite 'cornball' comedy films to
the Hollywood for one night of laughs. Nine different short films are
featured. A sampling of the evenings entertainment includes: See
Doodles Weaver (Sigourney's uncle) play two different characters in one
film; strange comedy 'audition' reels, burlesque comedy standup routines
and skits, bizarre and surrealist television 'filler' shorts, George
'Beetlepuss' Lewis in the risqué burlesque comedy 'Where's Annabelle?',
and to cap off the evening, a full tv sitcom will be played with plenty
of canned laughter. Repressed Cinema's favorite comedy film of all time
will also be played: the standup duo of Byrnes and Patti, where every
joke has the same punchline! All presented on 16mm.
