This year's NOIR CITY: Portland film lineup honors the femmes who made film noir fatale -- specifically, the six women Eddie Muller immortalized in his 2001 book Dark City Dames, the Wicked Women of Film Noir.
Join us for a conversation with Eddie as he recounts his friendships and collaborations with some of noir's most memorable fatales:
Evelyn Keyes, Audrey Totter, Marie Windsor, Jane Greer, Coleen Gray, and Ann Savage.
We'll also hear about Eddie's latest book -- his revised and expanded version of Dark City Dames: The Women Who Defined Film Noir, which includes an additional ten profiles of actresses who made an indelible impression on film noir.
Eddie will also keep us up to date on the latest news from the Film Noir Foundation.
