CAPOTE in 35mm

CAPOTE in 35mm
Thank God It's Queer celebrates 20 years of CAPOTE (2005) in 35mm! Philip Seymor Hoffman stars (in an Academy Award-winning performance) as the legendary novelist, traveling to a small Kansas town with his childhood friend Harper Lee (Best Supporting Actress nominee Catherine Keener) to cover the shocking murder of a family. Grappling with alcoholism while covering the case, Capote forms an attachment with accused Perry Smith (Clifton Collins Jr.) during jailhouse interviews—despite the young murderer's guilt, and all while trying to establish the true crime genre with a manuscript called IN COLD BLOOD.
Director: Bennett Miller
Run time: 114 mins
Format: 35mm
