ERNEST COLE: LOST AND FOUND

ERNEST COLE: LOST AND FOUND
The powerful new documentary from Raoul Peck (I AM NOT YOUR NEGRO).
South African photographer Ernest Cole was the first to expose the horrors of apartheid with the publication of his 1967 photo book House of Bondage. Cole then lived in exile in the US, where he documented New York City and the American South, observing the echoes of the homeland he left behind. This film recounts his wanderings, his turmoil as an artist, and his anger at silence and complicity in the face of horror.
Winner of Best Documentary at the Cannes Film Festival.
