Actress and icon Pam Grier originally became known in the early 1970s for starring in a string of blaxploitation films, including COFFY, FOXY BROWN, and SHEBA BABY. She returned to prominence in 1997, starring in Quentin Tarantino's JACKIE BROWN, for which she received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress. Ms. Grier is also known for her role of Kate "Kit" Porter on six seasons of the television series "The L Word" and for her powerful autobiography "Foxy: My Life in Three Acts."
