Gold Diggers of 1933 in 35mm
Hollywood Babylon presents a 35mm print of this rollicking pre-Code classic! This screening is free for Hollywood Theatre and Movie Madness members.

GOLD DIGGERS OF 1933 (1933): It's the Great Depression, and two wisecracking showgirls (Joan Blondell and Aline MacMahon) will do whatever they can to keep their new Broadway musical from going under. Dick Powell, Ginger Rogers, and Ruby Keeler also star in this backstage pre-Code romp, which features Rogers' singing her famous version of "We're in the Money" in pig latin: "Eer-way in-ay e-thay oney-may!"
Director: Mervyn LeRoy
Run time: 97 mins
Format: 35mm
