WTF Was That?! Cult Favorites Edition

WTF Was That?! Cult Favorites Edition
The term 'so bad, it's good' gets thrown around quite a lot but what does that actually mean? What makes content compelling? Successful? Entertaining?

This 4-week course will feature; a movie made of outtakes, a well-connected flop turned cult classic, an international independent action auteur, and a filmmaker that has created their own genre. If this class proves anything it's that you should never judge a DVD by its slipcover.

7/8: A Night To Dismember (1983/89, 70 min)
7/15: Rad (1986, 91 min)
7/22: Who Killed Captain Alex? (2010, 64 min)
7/29: TBD   This class will be taught by MMU lead instructor Kia Anne Geraths, a filmmaker and educator. Her previous classes include the Cult Horror series, Intro to Varda, Science Fiction B-movies, and more.   Movies will be screened at the Movie Madness Miniplex, followed by an instructor-led discussion. Classes will begin on Monday, July 8th, and be held each Monday evening through July 29th at 6:30pm   Class size will be limited to 18.
