"In an old house in Paris that was covered with vines, lived twelve little girls in two straight lines…"
MADELINE tells the story of a sweet and mischievous French girl who lives in a boarding school run by headmistress Miss Clavel (a gentle yet stern Frances McDormand). Based on the children's books of the same name, the film follows Madeline as she attempts to save her school from being sold and closed down. She meets many unexpected friends along the way, including her beloved dog Genevieve. Directed by Daisy von Scherler Mayer (who also directed PARTY GIRL), the film is a treat for anyone who can relate to the adventurous, inquisitive spirit of Madeline! Presented by Family Pictures in 35mm.
