Dive into Shinya Tsukamoto’s explosive take on the sports genre with TOKYO FIST (1995). Known for his raw and uncompromising style, Tsukamoto (TETSUO: THE IRON MAN) brings his signature intensity both behind and in front of the camera, crafting a visceral, brutal, and kinetic exploration of control.
This class will be taught by MMU lead instructor Kia Anne Geraths, a filmmaker and educator. Some of her previous classes include her WTF Was That?! Series, Women Directors in Horror, and Arthouse Horror: Origins.
