May

May is a woman on the brink of self discovery after a lifetime of loneliness and trauma. As she ventures out into the world seeking first time connection, things quickly spiral out of control when she betrays her only friend, Suzie, a doll gifted from her mother.

MAY (2002, 93 min) is a psychological horror film told as a tender character study explored through a modern twist on Frankenstein. Join us for this budding cult classic where we’ll explore the horror of putting yourself out there!

This class will be taught by MMU Instructor Zoe Gillian, whose recent classes include Exploring Portland Through Film, Twisted Genius: David Fincher and Whatever Happened To Baby Jane?

Class size will be limited to 18.
