
In 1997, ROMY & MICHELE'S HIGH SCHOOL REUNION introduced the world to two loveable valley girls who weren't just the joke but were in on it too, and the sincerity of their friendship transformed what could have been another buddy comedy into a beloved cult classic. Hollywood Theatre Community Programmer Anthony Hudson is joined by Romy & Michele creator Robin Schiff to discuss Schiff's iconic characters, the comedy writing process, and Romy & Michele's evolution from a sketch in the Groundlings to supporting characters in Schiff's 1987 play Ladies Room to the film, its prequel, and a musical adaptation at Seattle's Fifth Avenue Theatre.
