Prophecy (1979)

Prophecy (1979)
Dr. Robert Verne (Robert Foxworth) is sent to investigate claims of ecological contamination happening in a rural Indigenous reservation community. According to the locals, the nearby paper mill has been poisoning the water supply with deadly mercury, causing a litany of health problems amongst humans and local wildlife. When Robert discovers a mutated bear cub and decides to collect it as evidence, he unknowingly makes himself the next prey of a big, angry, and even more mutated mother bear. In a review of the film, director Quentin Tarantino
described PROPHECY as an “enjoyable piece of sh*t.”
