NEW Independent Short Films
Films range from direct adaptations of stories by Lovecraft and his contemporaries to original stories that couldn’t exist without the influence of cosmic horror. Many screenings include Q&As with attending filmmakers! See the full lineup and schedule on our official website.
Feature: Voidcaller (SE)
In this stark and chilling Cosmic Horror from Sweden, Anna wakes up with a mysterious gap in her memory. With the help of a dangerous psychedelic, she starts to uncover memories of something sinister on a cosmic scale.
Feature: Tim Travers & the Time Travelers Paradox (US)
A scientist creates a Time Machine and kills their younger self. So now a man who should not - can not - exist, somehow does in this Science Fiction comedy, starring Samuel Dunning, Felicia Day, Joel McHale, Danny Trejo & Keith David.
Feature: Resolution (2012) with Aaron Moorhead
A man imprisons his estranged junkie friend in an isolated cabin in the boonies of San Diego to force him through a week of sobriety, but the events of that week are being mysteriously manipulated.
Feature: Strange Harvest: Occult Murder in the Inland Empire (US)
A true-crime documentary-style cosmic horror film from the creator of GRAVE ENCOUNTERS, about two detectives pursuing an infamous serial killer named Mr. Shiny, who terrorized Southern California for almost two decades.
Feature: a Tribute to Roger Corman
US Premiere Feature: Dream Eater (CA)
A filmmaker documents her boyfriend’s violent parasomnia during their holiday at a remote cabin in the woods. As his sleepwalking gets worse, she believes that the cause might be something far more ancient and sinister.
SHORTS OF MADNESS
