and screening of STAR TREK VIII: FIRST CONTACT! The Next Generation crew
of the USS Enterprise faces off against the Borg, in a conflict that
takes them back in time. There, Captain Picard (Sir Patrick Stewart)
must continue his struggle against the Borg, while First Officer William
Riker (Jonathan Frakes, who also directs the film!) leads an away team
in assisting the famed Zefram Cochrane (James Cromwell) in completing
his historic test flight of Earth’s first warp-capable ship. The future
of Earth, and the entire Federation, hangs on the success of both
missions!
