The Bodyguard

The Bodyguard
In 1992 Whitney Houston took on her first film role THE BODYGUARD. In it, she plays the ultimate pearl-wearing diva pop star, Rachel Marron, with a relentless stalker. Her manager (Gary Kemp) hires an uptight former Secret Service agent Frank Farmer (Kevin Costner). He’s strict and difficult so Rachel equally amps up her diva antics while twirling in and out of scenes in equally fantastic outfits. After a particularly creepy run-in with a weirdo fan, the two finally start to see eye to eye and so much more.

The Bodyguard is part of the Hollywood's signature Fashion in Film series and will include a look at some of Whitney’s iconic fashion choices.
Director: Mick Jackson
