Fashion in Film presents a nostalgic look back with The Brady Bunch Movie (1995)— a delightfully campy revival of the beloved sitcom. In this quirky, fish-out-of-water comedy, the ultra-wholesome Brady family—headed by ever-optimistic parents Mike (Gary Cole) and Carol (Shelley Long)—find themselves living in the grunge-filled 90s, utterly unaware of how out of place they are. Their pastel, perfectly coordinated outfits and squeaky-clean antics clash with the cynical, modern world, where the neighbors and classmates can’t quite figure out what the hell is going on with any of them.
Watch the Bradys navigate the possibility of losing their home to a shady developer (Michael McKean) to teen love troubles (and a cameo from guidance counselor RuPaul) with their signature moral lessons and laugh-out-loud misunderstandings, all while keeping their groovy style intact. Featuring the whole crew—Greg, Jan, Peter, Bobby, Cindy, and Marcia! Marcia! Marcia!
