THE NET
In the 1995 oh-no-tech-might-be-scary film, THE NET, we meet Angela Bennett (Sandra Bullock fresh off of SPEED), a nerdy computer analyst whose life revolves around working from home with a pile of floppy disks and ordering pizza online. But her comfortable world falls apart when Angela stumbles upon a mysterious and sketchy computer program that exposes a major conspiracy. Because of a new thing called “The Internet” her identity is stolen, her existence is erased, and she’s hunted by a sinister group led by the cold-blooded Jack Devlin (Jeremy Northam). With her quick thinking and hacking skills, Angela must fight to get her life back while trying to stop a powerful organization determined to exploit the very technology she once trusted. But how????
