A restoration of Jerry Schatzberg's harrowing overlooked 1971 film, featuring Al Pacino in his breakthrough role.
A group of heroin addicts who hang out in "Needle Park" in New York City include Bobby (Al Pacino), a young addict and small-time hustler, and Helen (Kitty Winn), a homeless girl who finds stability in her relationship with Bobby. She becomes an addict too, and life goes downhill for them both as their addiction deepens, eventually leading to a series of betrayals.
