Twisted Genius: David Fincher
Known for his darkly meticulous and brilliant eye, David Fincher has solidified himself as a household name for contemporary American cinema. Going beyond his reputation as a controlling auteur whose work focuses on psychological thrillers and pushing the limits of what seems initially unknowable.

Spanning two different eras of his career, this class will be an exploration of Fincher’s journey as a filmmaker, and the dark and exciting worlds he creates. Join us as we study the filmography of one of the modern day greats.

7/24: Zodiac (2007, 157 min)
7/31: The Social Network (2010, 120 min)

This class will be taught by MMU Instructor Zoe Gillian, whose recent classes include Lavender Lens, and Exploring Portland Through Film.
Movies will be screened at the Movie Madness Miniplex, followed by an instructor-led discussion. Classes will begin on Wednesday, July 10th, and be held each Wednesday evening through July 31st at 6:30pm
