You know you like movies—but do you know why you like them? Learn how to articulate and appreciate the finer points of filmmaking in our MMU class “What Is Movie?”
In this two-hour class held at the Movie Madness Miniplex, we’ll provide a basic introduction to film appreciation and theory. Through lecture, discussion, and clips illustrating pivotal developments in film history, our instructor will introduce key concepts and vocabulary, and provide opportunities to apply them in discussion with your classmates. You’ll emerge with a newfound ability to understand and appreciate the language of film.
This course will be taught by Movie Madness University Lead Instructor Kia Geraths.
