Join Grant High Movie Club for DAZED AND CONFUSED! This special presentation is programmed and introduced by Grant High Movie Club students and ends in an interview with Melissa Maerz, author of Alright, Alright, Alright: The Oral History of Richard Linklater's Dazed and Confused.
DAZED AND CONFUSED follows a group of teenagers in Austin, Texas celebrating the last day of high school in 1976—and all the partying, hazing, mailbox baseball, and mayhem that ensues. Featuring a soundtrack packed with '70s anthems and an all-star cast including Matthew McConaughey, Milla Jovovich, Ben Affleck, Parker Posey, Jason London, Joey Lauren Adams, and Renée Zellweger, DAZED AND CONFUSED is considered one of the greatest high school comedies ever made, the ultimate party movie, and, in the words of Linklater himself, "a teenage rock'n'roll spree."
