Sonic Cinema presents this new documentary.
The indigenous, SamÃ
rapper Nils Rune Utsi - aka SlinCraze - lives with his mother in Máze, a
nearly abandoned town in the Arctic Highlands of Norway. Nils dreams of
being able to make a living making music - and maybe even become world
famous. Playing to sparsely attended shows, in
remote locations, on makeshift stages, and usually for free, Niles uses
his music to deal with the trauma of being bullied as a child and maybe
even more importantly, prove to himself that he's not a nobody. The only
problem is that less than 20,000 people in the world understand the
endangered language he raps in.
